Abstract In this paper, a new design approach for the six-port (SP) junction is introduced. The proposed includes generalized broadband matching and smooth miniaturization scheme extendable any passive multiport structure. A multilayer technology microstrip to slot coupling operation are employed designed SP, which comprises power divider three hybrid couplers. conducted measurements of constructed SP junctions validates approach. Optimal performance network in terms miniaturization, bandwidth, response accuracy were obtained 5G low band.
